Aloha Gardens grows and delivers fresh kalo (taro) leaves, ti leaf, and filler bundles for laulau, lūʻau, palusami, and kin dishes across the mainland. Uncle Manny’s mala in Hampton, Virginia, expanding Kalo Kountry cultivation in the Tampa / Wesley Chapel area, with periodic Taro Tour pickup runs. Founder Manny Manuel’s public moʻolelo: childhood began in Pāhoa, Hawaiʻi Island; parents born on the Big Island; Filipino plantation ʻohana roots on Kauaʻi’s west side (Mānā); the family returned to Kekaha, Kauaʻi (1996–2000) so his sons could know their grandparents.
Aloha Gardens was born April 2017 from a backyard koi-pond project with son Howie. Brands include Uncle Manny’s Aloha Gardens laulau and KaloBuyDaBundle vacuum-packed leaf packs.
