Hawaiian Yellow Pages Terms of Use
A project of Lilikoi Productions, LLC. Aloha. These terms are the rules of the road. They are meant to be fair, plain, and clear. Last updated September 6, 2026.
Hawaiian Yellow Pages is a vetted directory of Kamaʻāina, Kānaka ʻŌiwi, Pacific Islander, and Island Roots businesses, artists, and events — mainly on the U.S. mainland and abroad.
1. Using this site means you agree
Use of Hawaiian Yellow Pages is free and voluntary. If you visit the site, submit a listing or event, create an account, or pay for featured placement, you are agreeing to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. What this site is
This is a directory and calendar. It helps people find Hawaiian and Pacific Island businesses, artists, and gatherings away from home.
It is not a phone book for Hawaiʻi itself.
It is not an endorsement of every business in the book.
It is not a guarantee of customers, rankings, or bookings.
3. Editorial authority
Hawaiian Yellow Pages has final say over what appears on the site.
We may accept, decline, edit, delay, move, feature, unfeature, or remove a listing, event, photo, or comment. We may do that if something is inaccurate, misleading, off-mission, spam, harmful, or simply not a fit for the book.
Payment does not override that. A paid listing or event can still be edited or removed if it breaks these terms.
We do not owe an explanation for every editorial decision, but we will try to be straight with people when we can.
4. Listings and events
Free listings and free events are reviewed before they go public.
Paid featured placement is covered by the separate Paid Placement Terms. Featured events are available now. Featured listings are coming soon.
By submitting, you confirm that:
- the information is true to the best of your knowledge
- you have the right to use the name, photos, and links you send
- you are connected to the business, artist, or event you are submitting
You are responsible for keeping your information current. We may correct obvious errors.
5. Who belongs in the book
We list businesses and artists with real ties to Hawaiʻi or the Pacific Islands, and events that serve that ʻohana on the mainland and abroad. We decide what that means in practice. If we are unsure, we may ask questions or decline the listing.
6. Your conduct
Do not use this site to spam, scrape, impersonate, harass, or dump junk listings. Do not submit fake events. Do not treat the directory as an advertising dump that skips the mission.
We may block access or remove content if that happens.
7. Our content
The Hawaiian Yellow Pages name, design, and site copy belong to Lilikoi Productions, LLC. You may link to the site and use an official “Proudly listed in Hawaiian Yellow Pages” badge we give you. You may not copy the directory, scrape the listings, or present our book as your own.
The businesses keep the rights to their own names, logos, and photos. They give us permission to show that material on this site.
8. No guarantees
The site is provided as is. Pages go down. Search rankings change. A listing may not bring customers. We are not liable for lost business, missed events, or technical problems beyond what the law requires.
9. Paid placement
Featured events are available now. Featured listings are coming soon. Both have their own terms, which apply in addition to these. See Paid Placement Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version lives on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
