Miyako Island’s Maui sister-city hula festival — dedication dances, international competition, free seaside stage.
Since 2013, Kagimana Hula (“beautiful islands’ spirit” — Miyako dialect *kagi* + Hawaiian *mana*) celebrates the Miyako–Maui sister-city bond. Oct 23 dedication dances from Hotel てぃだの郷; Oct 24 International Hula Competition at Matida Civic Theater; Oct 25 free Toriba Hula at Toriba Seaside Park against Miyako Blue and sunset.
