Hawaiian steel guitar comes to Austin as Bobby Ingano, Michael Kiese, and Alan Akaka take the stage at the inaugural Austin Steel Guitar Fest to represent the induction of the late David “Feet” Rogers into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.

Bobby — protégé of Feet Rogers (Sons of Hawaiʻi), multiple Grammy-winning steel master, and touring member of Taj Mahal’s band — leads the honor with Michael and Alan in a rare mainland gathering of Hawaiian steel voices. The Fest runs three days at the Austin Marriott South with two stages, seminars, vendors, and Saturday’s Hall of Fame ceremony.
